Five spaces

One reverb. Five worlds.

Each mode is its own algorithm — not a preset wrapped around a single engine.

PLATE

Plate

Steel-plate density. Tight, bright, frosted — perfect for snares, vocals, and percussion that need air without smear.

HALL

Hall

Medium-large, natural, balanced. The default for melodies and pads — sounds expensive on everything.

CAVERN

Cavern

Long, dark, sub-zero. For ambient beds, atmospheric drops, and dub-style throws.

CRYSTAL

Crystal

Shimmer baked in. Octave-up regeneration with built-in detune for cinematic, frozen overtones.

FROST

Frost

Granular freeze — pads out, blurs the source, and creates infinite stasis pads from any input.

Three eras

Pick your decade of cold.

One click flips the entire engine's character — from pristine modern to hazy vintage hardware.

GLACIAL

Glacial

The modern era. Pristine 64-bit clarity, full bandwidth, zero grit — ice in high definition. The default "now" sound.

FROSTLINE

Frostline

The '80s era. Softened top end, a touch of digital grit, and gentle tail drift — the character of the classic studio racks.

PERMAFROST

Permafrost

The '70s era. Narrow bandwidth, heavier saturation, and the deepest tail wobble — early digital hardware: warm, hazy, haunted.

Built for speed

Ten controls. Zero menus.

Mix

Wet/dry. Linear or equal-power crossfade.

Size

Room dimensions, smoothly morphed.

Attack

How fast the space blooms — slow icy swells to instant onset.

Decay

50ms to infinite. Hold for freeze.

Pre-delay

0–500ms, tempo-syncable.

Lo cut

Tame mud below the tail.

Hi cut

Roll off ice for a darker space.

Shimmer

Octave-up feedback for crystal magic.

Mod depth

Subtle chorus on the tail to keep it alive.

Width

Mono to ultra-wide stereo.

Plus a built-in ducking compressor. Keyed by your dry signal — Thresh, Ratio, Attack, Release and a live gain-reduction meter — it tucks the reverb tail under your track, so even the biggest spaces never bury the mix.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Is there a free demo?

Yes — grab the free demo above for Windows or macOS. It's the full plugin: until you activate it with a licence key, the output briefly dips to silence every ~10 seconds. Buy a key and it unlocks instantly — same file, no re-install.

How many computers can I install on?

One license = three machines for the same user — and you can mix platforms. Install on your Windows desktop and your Mac laptop with the same key if you like.

Which formats do I get?

One purchase covers both platforms: VST3 on Windows and macOS, plus AU on macOS for Logic Pro and GarageBand. The macOS build is a universal binary, so it runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. AAX for Pro Tools is on the roadmap.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC" — is it safe?

Yes. Because FreezyBeats is a new studio, the installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows shows a caution message the first time you run it. Just click More info → Run anyway. Glacier is clean and safe — the warning is about the publisher being new, not the file being harmful.

Windows won't let the installer run at all — there's no "Run anyway" option?

That's Smart App Control, a Windows 11 feature that blocks installers from developers who don't have a code-signing certificate yet (we're a new studio — it's on our roadmap). To install: Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control → Off, run the installer, then switch it back On afterwards if you prefer. Nothing is wrong with the file. If you'd rather not change any settings, email support@freezybeats.com and we'll sort you out.

Will I get free updates?

Yes — every future version of Glacier is a free download for existing owners, forever. No subscription, ever.

Is there a Mac version?

Yes — Glacier runs on macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later as a universal binary (Apple Silicon and Intel), in both VST3 and AU. Download the macOS installer above; your licence key works on either platform.

Where does the Mac version install to?

The installer places Glacier in the standard system folders every DAW scans: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components (AU). If it doesn't appear straight away in Logic, restart Logic so it rescans your Audio Units.

Can I use it commercially?

Of course. The license covers commercial productions, mixes, and releases — no royalty splits, no extra fees.
